SUB-DISTRICT
Sub Marioriwawo with an area of ​​300 km2, is located in the southern part of the district Soppeng. Sub is bordered by:
- North: District Liliriaja
- East: Regency Bone
- South: District of Bone and Barru
- West: District and Sub Lalabata Liliriaja
Sub Marioriwawo consist of 2 (two) sub-districts and 11 (eleven) villages. Sub is located in areas with diverse topography. Some villages were located in flat areas and others that are in areas with hilly topography. Overall Marioriwawo the District is at an altitude between 25-1400 meters above sea level.
     Based on the 2010 Population Census, the population of Sub Marioriwawo much as 44,310 inhabitants, with a population of as many as 20,701 male psyche, while the female population as 23,609 inhabitants. On average, stiap square kilometer area in the district is inhabited by 147 people. Tettikenrarae Village is a village with the greatest density of 401 inhabitants per kilometer. While the lowest was Soga village with a population density of 70 people per kilometer. As for the sex ratio of 87 which means that for every 100 women there were 87 resident male population.
     The majority of the population is Muslim Marioriwawo District and a minority Christians. To perform religious activities in the district there are 79 mosques, 2 and 1 Mushallah Church.
     In terms of education, district education facilities Marioriwawo. starting from the Kindergarten (TK), elementary school (SD), High School (SMP) and High School (SMA). Until the year 2010, in the District Marioriwawo there are 19 preschool, 51 elementary schools, 13 junior high schools and 2 high schools.
     Health facilities in the district are sufficient Marioriwawo, is seen from the presence of a sub-clinic health center and spread and located in areas that can be accessed easily. Health Center consists of 3 units, while Pustu 8 units. In addition, there are also other health facilities such as 1 doctor, 1 midwife practice, 11 and 64 posyandu poskesdes.
     Housing and environmental conditions in the District Marioriwawo relatively good. However, there are still many people who do not have latrines. All the village has reached commercial power.
     Sub Marioriwawo an area in the district with the potential for rice farming Soppeng large enough. In 2010, generating as much as 29,914 tons of rice production, which is produced from the planting area covering 6634 ha. The results were quite prominent plantations of cocoa and coconut hybrid.
     In the Year 2010, the district has 4644 cattle heads, as much as 256,168 range chicken tail, and duck tails 6552.
     The trade sector in the District Marioriwawo mainly supported by the traditional market and shopping business / shop whose existence spread throughout the village.

In 2010, there were 266 pelenggan telephone wires in the Tettikenrarae and Labessi.
